On 30 Jan 2017, Our Future City worked in partnership with SoundCity and Connected Schools to provide the 6th annual Joint Practice Development Day for Arts and Cultural Education at Portslade Aldridge Community Academy. The day presented a range of practical workshops, opportunities to network and a safe space for attendees to share ideas and practice. Please find here highlights and useful resources from the day…

The morning saw delegates gathered to hear from Richard Russell (Chief Operating Officer of Arts Council England) as he spoke about the national picture on Local Cultural Education Partnerships. Followed by keynote speaker Paul Roberts OBE who spoke on the importance of creativity in education.
